Nabil Ben Yadir tells the story of the crazy adventure of La Marche against racism and for equality in 1983 amongst intolerance in France. Plagued with rejections, doubts, hostilities and violence, this initiative spurred by three teenagers with nothing in their hands other than their inspiration from Martin Luther King’s and Ghandi’s ideologies, will gather more than 100,000 people in Paris, after a 1200 km trek throughout France. The cast made up with seasoned stars, carry the film with such strong faith and truthfulness that they give high dignity to this human story of magnificent encounters, love and solidarity. “It is such a funny, moving, sincere and well paced film that we want to follow up in the footsteps of the Walkers with pleasure” (Morgane Cadignan). Dark and light at once, La Marche will find the way to entertain you and get you right in the heart probing it at the same time to force you to think. A galvanizing film experience that will inspire you to move mountains!
